Hi Markus,
First, Thank you very much for your image.

Re: 15 cm Kanone 16
Just an aside, but let's be aware that most anglophone artillery authorities refer to most ordnance designed and built after the muzzle loading era (ca. 1860/1861 and after) as either a "gun", as in this particular case with the 15cm K-16, or alternatively as a "howitzer", and is not referred to anymore as a "cannon", as during the breechloading era "cannon" properly speaking refers to any automatic or electrically driven weapon of a caliber anywhere from 20mm up to 57mm, with weapons of the 11mm/12.7mm to 15mm calibers typically being referred to as heavy machineguns. The Spanish and French terms "cañon" and "canon" (in French usually rendered as "canon de X long" or "canon de X court") are exact equivalents to the English term "gun" or sometimes "field gun" (French "canon de campagne"). In German, the term "kanone" is also equivalent to "gun" in English.

Hi all,
Another image from Ebay. I think it is a wartime image but this gun has not been modernized and still have the old wheels and shield.
I thought all the guns were modernized in the mid-30's
