Hi tomnl,

Looks good to me.

Does it have original liner and chinstrap?

Regards,

Steve.

hi steve , yes the liner is original, it has no chinstrap, stamp on the leather says 61, other markings in the helmet are: ET68, and 4847. almost not seeable, but still there, is the abname stamp! this is my first helmet :), i will post a pic of the liner soon.

NICE SIZE! My Dad has a helmet which is size 60, which is big enough.
Congrats!

thanks :D , but as you can see there appear to be 2 different kinds of paint on the helmet, anyone an idea how this may become ?

Tomnl, nice helmet, I too have a big head and only a 60 will do.

They are rare, was it a bargain?

As far as colours are concerned, I can't notice from the pictures that there are two distinct colours (other than the rusty bits of course :))

Hi tomnl,

The diference in paint colour could be due to the out side being exposed to the elements, rain/mud/sunlight/frost etc., or the helmet could have had a period repaint ar some time.

I would not worry to much......Looks like a nice helmet.

Regards,

Steve.

I have looked on a dealer site, and a helmet similar but in not so good condition was up for £325.
