Does anyone has any info on this school?
There are three names for this school:
- SS-Schule Devin,
- Bandenkampfschule Duino (italian name for Devin)
- Landschutzschule Devin.

CO was SS-Hstuf. Bareuther, Adolf.

Duino/Devin is a small village just outside Trieste (Trst). If you ever get any picture of the school I may help.
I know it was there, but very little is known. I think it was inside Castle of Duino,though.

Yes, the school was based in the castle. I have seen some midwar photos of castle, but nothing special.

In this school they trained members of SNVZ (Slovene national security Corps), Wachmannschaften from Triest, some W-SS members and others.

Duino Castle was also the location were soldiers were taught counter guerrillas techniques.

By the way, do you have ant information about one Domobranci garrison in Trieste, in S.Giovanni area? It was later used by British Forces and more recently it became a Police Academy
