There was none. I'll save that for later!!JT wrote:Hmmm....couldn't find there any connection to the Ostfriesland sinking....
merely the twin engine/tail connection to the Mitchell.
Correct of course. I should learn to stay away from some of the more common types in LuftArchiv!!

Thanks Auf,
I knew I had seen that pic somewhere, just couldn't remember where/the name.
I looks a bit Italian to me ( my intuition doesn't work that well as yours ) so the first plane that I got into my mind was Fiat RS14 ....but no

Correct answer TapaniTapani K. wrote:North American NA-50 (Torito) of the Peruvian Air force.
I was counting on that via the South American emblems (even the pic was B/W) the AF could be traced out. After that the rest would be fairly easy.

Thank you, Juha.
How about this one:
A state and an international organization signed a treaty in the Inter-war years. The treaty signified a profound change in the relations between the two parties and especially in the status of the latter. The results of this change are seen even today. One of the clauses in the treaty stipulated that practically all officials of the organization living in this state were to freed from military service in peace-time. What was this treaty?

Tapani K.

A clarification which also serves as a hint: Actually, it is matter of three treaties but one often sees the term used in the singular as I did in my question. Strictly speaking one should use the plural form.

PS: In about 30 minutes I´ll be off to celebrate the Midsummer Day and will be off the internet until Sunday morning Finnish time so if somebody does get the answer, I will not be able confirm it until that time. Hauskaa juhannusta kaikille!
