was Hans Ilgner somehow related to Max Ilgner, member of the board of directors of the IG-Farben?

No, we have here two various names.

Hans Illgner (2 x l) was the son of the factory owner Heinrich Illgner.
Max Ilgner (1 x l) was the son of the BASF-Sekretariatsleiters Ilgner.
