Thank you very much Giuseppe. Unfortunately, the June 1940 pages do not show the superior headquarters for the GAF Settori, be it Army or Territorial Corps.

As I understand it from several sources, in June 1940 the two sectors on the Swiss border, namely the
XI Settore di Copertura GAF (Laghi) [in peacetime under 3.o Corpo d'Armata Territoriale di Milano]
XII Settore di Copertura GAF (Sondrio-Valtellina) [in peacetime also under 3.o Corpo d'Armata Territoriale di Milano]
had a special "Armata S" (S for Speciale - Special) raised (when? and why?) A Regio Decreto dated 01.03.1940 raised the 16.o Corpo d'Armata Territoriale for the "shadowed" 3.o Corpo d'Armata Territoriale di Milano (operative at the French border). So, these two Settori di Copertura came under the Hq 16.o Corpo d'Armata, apparently raised just to control these two sectors.

For the German Reich (former Austrian) Border, the sectors
   XIII Settore di Copertura GAF
   XIV Settore di Copertura GAF
   XV Settore di Copertura GAF
   XVI Settore di Copertura GAF
   XVII Settore di Copertura GAF
were under the 14.o Comando GAF della Difesa Territoriale di Treviso, with the
-35.o Corpo d'Armata di Bolzano (Territoriale)
-24.o Corpo d'Armata di Udine (Territoriale)
I do not know when these three headquarters were raised, and they do not appear in the "mobilized" order of battle of 10 June 1940, as the Territorial Corps only numbered up to 15, (or 16, taking into account the Swiss border units indicated above.) Furthermore, I have not discovered Comando GAF of any sort. This might be a translation (language) problem, however.

All the above mentioned higher headquarters were apparently disbanded after 1940 French campaign, so possibly they were shadow (ficticious) commands?

As always, any help is appreciated.
Leo
