Was the 38 ton MAS ever built?

According to http://www.regiamarina.it/models.htm "before of the beginning of WWII, Italian Navy made a study about a 38 ton. MAS; the pictures show it, if it was built."

Its the MAS da 38m, so 38m in length not displacement. Displacement is probably around 80-100tons or so. The design was made in 1924 and it was never built. Armament was 4x450mm torpedoes, 1x100mm QF (-35?) and 2x25mm Fiat Revelli
