Die Saar im bild
Hello, these are images from a booklet edited in 1935 by the Nazi Government with beautiful images of the Saar. I´m going to post others images about the nazi movement in this beautiful land but in other thread. These images just show the landscapes of a marvel land in 1936 without political message.
I hiope you enjoy this.
Best,

Those were wonderful.
My family is from that region - Saarbruecken and Omersheim (or Ormesheim, not sure) - and I have been there a couple of times. A lot of the places look familiar such as the Ludwigskirche (St. Ludwig's Church - 5th post, 3rd picture), the Saarschleife (last post last picture), and Alte Bruecke in Saarbruecken (7th post, 1st picture). I think the picture of the woman painting the china is probably from the Villeroy & Boch factory in Mettlach.
Do any of the photos come with a description of where they were taken?
