Raketenwerfer auf Panzer IV

#1

Post by vad26 » 09 Jan 2007, 09:21

Has found in the Internet some photos of models of this tank - and all different! Therefore there are some questions:
1. What Panzer IV - C or D - was a basis?
2. Rockets - 4 or 6, in one line or two?
3. Rockets - what diameter?

Probably - there were some variants (and all different)? But all equally it is necessary to do model.... Thanks.

"Rockets in a single line"
Stop! And how to be with such variant? Perhaps, them were some variants?

According to my records the tank shown in the black & white photo is an "up-armored" Panzer IVa. It was the only version to have that distinctive driver's view port. A total of 38 vehicles were made in the original "A" form. How many were refitted to contain rockets I cannot say.

The models, while quite beautiful, do not have the same driver's view port.

Hope this helps.
