Hello,

I have no pics of these trenches after the war.
I do have pics of other trenches in Flanders after the war, that were preserved as museum. (all disappeared during WWII)
Most trenches were filled up after WWI, war material was removed or dumped in large shell holes, and the land was laboured again. ( in contrast with the battelfields at Verdun).
This doesn't mean that the ground in Flanders is empty of war débris (fuses, shells, equipment, etc)
Every year tons of ammunition are found by farmers, or during house and road construction.

The man standing at right in the picture "Kaiser inspecting troops" has a normal left arm, so he should not be ingWilhelm II. - just a double for rehearsal of the big event?
