GENERALS SERVING IN LIBYA?

#1

Post by Lornito Uriarte Mahinay Jr. » 23 Feb 2007, 05:05

Did Brigadier General Raimondo Lorenzini (who died in Ethiopia) and Brigadier General Pietro Maletti (who died during the offensive in Sidi Barrani) served in the invasion of Libya?

Can anyone provide me their assignments in 1900's except during the war? Who were also the other generals who served in Libya during their junior officer's time?

Best Regards
Baron

I know that Bergonzoli, Graziani and Bastico served in Lybia.

Ah Graziani served as military governor of Libya. During his term of office the legendary Omar Mukhtar was captured.

almost all generals you've named had spent their careers in colonial army ranks. I got some trouble in resuming their careers but I'm largely sure about it

(Note: I know a general Orlando Lorenzini but not a Raimondo one)
