I did a search for this officer and there were so much hits that I maybe have overlooked a post/thread with info about him.
Still, I was able to gather some info about him.

So this is what I've about this officer, maybe somebody can help me with some more.
Georg Martin: German soldier.

He took part in WW-I and he received the 1914 EK II, the 1914 EK I, the KVK2mS,

After WW-I he joined the SS(nr. 87.679)and he became a member of the NSDAP(nr. 5.649.799).
On 9-11-1942 he got promoted to SS-Oberführer d.R.
On 9-11-1944 he was Ib within the Staff from the 10. SS-Panzer-Division ‘Frundsberg’. Between December 1944 and May 1945 he was commander from the Lettische Rekruten-Depot.

Just a quick and semi-off topic note that I'm enormously pleased to see you, Wolfgang and you, Ignacio (by proxy) posting to this forum. You are both among the unsung heroes of SS and Polizei research, and have been of incalculable help to me in my own research over the years.

Sincerely,
~ Mike

There are two good photos of Martin on p270 of "Heinrich Himmler - A Photo History of the Reichsführer-SS" published by Fonthill.
