Hello Zaptiè, could you tell me a bit more about the Croatian marschal baton. I can't find information about it on Google.
Thank you for your reply .

benton,

I have no idear what the pin is, but it's not Italian or French in my opinion. The "Clutch back" was developed in the United States in the midwar period (1942/43- some earlier types were in developement, but varied from the typical WW 2 style). The clutch style with the dimples as on your pin is the Postwar version- wartime clutches are smooth backed.
Of course the "clutch back" has spread throughout Western (& now eastern) Europe since the war, especially for novelty pins, etc.

It maybe US.....nothing official though, I doubt it's Military....... Does appear to be a European type Ax....but could be anything.

Just my thoughts....hope it helps.

Thank you all for your reply. The typ of axe ; on an Italian fascio it is even wide, while mine reminds more of Celtic or Teutonic types. Also the brances in the bundle are no right.

Cheers,
Benten
