What happen to this Italian General who headed the Italian Mission in China?
He was confirmed with 26 victories, right?
When he died? His assignments?

Silvio Scaroni: one of the best italian aces of WWI, credited of 26 victories between 1916 and 1918. As General, leaded the italian mission in China between 1935 and 1937. I have no data about his activities during WWII.
He died February 16th, 1977

He was commander of air force in Sicily through at least the initial part of the war (and possibly the entire war).

I'd never heard of him! Very interesting! Made some research but only found WWI data... anyone can confirm more about him in WWII?

If he was commander of 2ª Squadra Aerea (later Aeronautica della Sicilia), he must be Generale di Squadra Aerea right?
