My Grandfather got his first and only TDB in the Ardennes in December 1944.
His name was Obergefreiter Erich Lindhorst, born in 1921.
The pic shows him late 1944 before they were transferred to the Ardennes-Area.
First he has been Forward Observer in the 7./AR22 of the 22. Infanteriedivision (LL) and was wounded first time in Sewastopol on 06.06.1942. Then he was transferred to "Stabskompanie Regiment Fullriede" on Sicily, later Grenadierregiment Sizilien 2. His last unit was the 6./PzGrenRegt 115 of the 15. PzGrenDivision.
He was wounded 3 times: First in Sewastopol, second in Italy and his third wound in the Ardennes.
He was captured by the US in April 1945 and was handed over to the French in Fall 1945.

They destroyed a tank on August 1st 1944
Do you happen to have the first name of this Wagner, the regimental führer of Panzer-Regiment 3 ? I've been looking for it for some time without any succes...
Cheers,
Charles
