Well the germans used close support aircraft like stukas to sever communication lines and then the panzers would spearhead threw the weakend lines

Osprey Publishing has an impressive array of softcover books featuring everything you could want to know about German tactics. They are a bit pricey but are a treasure trove of knowledge.

Best Regards,
Ryan

I also recomend ospery. Yes the cost more than they should, but they give you evreything you'd ever need to know about a topic.

Try: Panzer Leader

Guderian: Gives a good account of how the mobile units where meant to operate.

Also: Clausewitz, on war

This the philosophical and tactical base mark for all german tactics:
look up kesselschact (Cauldronslaughter)
Vernichtungsgedanke(encirclement from flanks and rear).
ps. Blitzkrieg: not a german expression first used in an american magazine, and referred to as the new german tactical doctrine mistakenly.
All german offensives were Vernichtungsgedanke.
