Ciao :D
First photo is a "old" type bunker in south Sardinia (Palmas),
2nd is a pillbox located in the North.

Except for "fortress La Maddalena", the most interesting WWII bunker are in south Sardinia.
Nord Sardinia was fortified later (1943), and received only the standard "pillbox" type.
In north Sardinia, not all planned bunker was built.

Here some images of planned position.
Most are today very difficult to find...

Hi Assfort, nice pics!
This site:
http://aermacchi.ifrance.com/photoscope ... od.06.html
mentions almost at the end some Dutch 75mm Krupp-Siderius field guns as used on Sardinia. Do you know anything about this?
Kind regards,
Nuyt

Actually they mean Krupp guns converted by HIH, the predecessor of HIH Siderius

Hello. :D
In august 1943 doc
i find that, in the Alghero area strongpoints, there was in service
4 "75 FK" guns used as "anticarro" (AT),

serial numbers
"77/56", "34/89", "490" and "31/82".

In the Anglona fortified area:
4 "75 FK" guns marked
"644", "355", "248" and "6/366"

but i don't know if are serial number used in Krupp-Siderius field guns ...
I hope that You can help us. :o

ciao

Those serial numbers are not Dutch Army, nor can I link them in any way with HIH or HIH Siderius...
Must be German?

Tks,
Nuyt

Ok, do You have some Siderius serial number as example?
I newer saw a picture of a Siderius gun...

Maybe Italians called the Siderius Krupp gun as "75/27 06",
because also the italian 75/27-06 gun vas a Krupp model...

Siderius? ("gallery, page 4)? http://www.waroverholland.nl/index.php? ... ap006.html

For HIH Siderius see here:

Your L27 is maybe the Belgian?

here's a picture of the regular Dutch Army Krupp 75mm L30 as modified by HIH;
