On http://www.lonesentry.com/articles/misc ... index.html there is some info about field methods of patching holes in German troop carriers. Have anyone of You ever saw such patches on a photo or on real vehicle ?

The Aberdeen Tiger 1, wherever it is, has a patch welded on the turret just forward of the view slit.
