Hi, does anyone have a decent picture of the Me-109 that RH flew on the Eastern Front? I have seen only a very bad one, but there were SS runes painted on the fuselage in place of the usual chevrons, etc. It would be very interesting to see that plane in detail.

Thanks,

Nachtjäger

Shouldn't this be in the biographical research area?

anyway since we're putting up ones that can be found easily online too, here's a picture of Blowhard... er.. I mean Reinhard Heydrich: :D

Maybe someone happens to have the large version of this photo?

Here's a group photo including Heydrich thanks to Google. Unfortunately I can't find the site's index but the photo has the caption "Happy confrencees at Wannsee -- Richard Heydrich, second from left". What worries me is that I wasn't aware that Himmler attended the Wannsee conference. Did he put in an appearance? Or does the author simply mean here's a group of people pictured at another time, some of whom attended Wansee?

The directory of the above has lots of other pics, mainly relating to Jewish persecution in the Netherlands [http://isd.usc.edu/~anthonya/frank1/]

The caption "Wannsee conference" is incorrect.

This photo was taken in early 30s - and Heydrich had just joint the SS since a few years.

Look at his insignia
And look how young he was.

And himmler never attended wansee either.

Everyone on this pic doesn't look like himself. Are you sure it's authentic?

I'm not sure it's authentic, but I'm not that suspicious either - it#'s not obviously a montage. It's not Wansee either.
