What is the black cross on Himmler's uniform? Is it Spanish medal? Picture taken in Spain, October 1940...

Gran Cross of the Order of the Yoke and the Arrows. The highest Spanish award during Franco's government.

The highest grade of this Order was the chain/collar. It was awarded only to Vittorio Emanuele III, Mussolini, Ribbentrop, Göring and Hitler, altough he never wore it.

Hello!

Maybe somebody can help for me!

I would like to know, what is the badge on this picture above the left pocket of Léon Degrelle?

And which colour of is it? May it is red?

Thanks a lot in advance for the help!

Hello there,

At first glance it appears to be a Russian front medal ribbon.

Dear William Kramer!

First of all thank you for your answer!

How stupid was I am? You have got totally right, I already read the list which awards Mr. Degrelle had, and of course this is in the list!

But I thought only in a medal, not in a ribbon!

By the way, thank you you much for your help!

All my best from Hungary!

Dear friends, what decoration could be wearing Wilhelm List on his breast? It seems the Italian Crown Grand Cross Order. What do you think?

Hello dear friends.

I've found this very interesting photo of General Erich Hippke's ribbon bars. The german awards are all well known, but I have some problems identifying the foreing decorations. Can anyone help me. At this moment I can identify these:

Image

- Hungary, World War I commemorative medal
- Bulgarian World War I commemorative medal
- Turkish War Medal (Iron Crescent) with campaign bar
- Italy: Gran Cross of the Crown Order (3 crowns)
- ?????? (orange ribbon with green fringes and a crown
- Maybe Danish Dannebrog Order (with one Crown, perhaps Commander Class)
- ???????? (red ribbon with swords)
- Spanish Order of the Yoke and the Arrows (maybe Grand Cross)
- Maybe Norway's Saint Olav Order (Commander with Star and Swords?)
- Maybe Yugoslavian Order of Saint Sava (Commander with Star?)

Any idea?

Thanks in advance.

I think you've pretty much gotten them all "more or less" correct. The "red" ribbon appears to have faded verticle stripes, but can't really see well enough the colors or widths....my guess would be Spanish or maybe Slovakian....there is a Czech. ribbon that's pretty close....but whether a German would wear it I don't know....
Think you "have" most, if not all, the others....

He's wearing a "Navy Minesweeper/Sub-Chaser War Badge"....so he's obviously one of the thousands of "untrained" sailors who became "infantry" in the closing stages of the war....

Hello everybody.

Could be wearing Göring in this image the Grand Officer Star of the Italian Crown Order?

Image

It's very strange, because it's not the higher grade of this order. And Göring was awarded with the other two italian most important orders (Saints Mauritius and Lazarus, and Annunziata).
