SS General photos...

Postby Michael Miller on 21 Apr 2002 01:39

I wish I could help you now, but won't be able to share my photos until publication of my book (Reichsführer-SS through SS-Gruppenführer, names beginning in "A" through "M"). I have photos of all but about 5 officers in the ranks through SS-Gruf. (about 230 SS generals).

If you ever get a chance, visit the National Archives II in College Park, Maryland where you may find the microfilmed officer records of 61,000+ SS officers; that's where I got most of my pictures and information.

Photos of Karl Zech may be found in Mark C. Yerger's "Allgemeine-SS" and "Waffen-SS Commanders, Vol. I". Ditto with Dr. jur. Wilhelm Harster.

I am hoping my manuscript will be complete within the next two months or so, which means publication will follow by year's end, or thereabouts.

Best wishes,
~ Mike Miller
