Post by ckleisch » 07 Mar 2003, 08:59

Luigi Gorrini flew a Maccchi 202 Italian fighter for the 3 Stormo Caccia and gave support to german tank actions in the Desert Campaign in Africa. In his career he received 3 silver medals and the Medagilia d'Oro, Italys highest decoration. The Ace scored 24 victories in 180 missions and was shot down 5 times. he retired from the military in 1979.
The purpose of my post is to inquire if anyone has pictures of this ace?
