Panzer-Aufklärungs-Abteilung 9: 01.07.44

#1

Post by WAKEN » 16 Mar 2012, 00:18

The Kriegsgliederung for 9. Panzer-Division dated 1.7.44 shows that the Stabskompanie of Panzer-Aufklärungs-Abteilung 9 had 9 heavy and 6 light armoured cars. Does anybody know what models these 15 armoured cars were?

Thanks,

Neil

May be it help to you:
9. Aufklärungs-Abt- (Zetterling, Jul 1944):

Stabskompanie:
9 heavy armored cars, 6 light armored cars (In Jentz book said that 13 SdKfz 231/4 at June and 3 SdKfz 234/3 were delivered to 9. PzDiv. during July, can be an earlier composition when 9 PzD arrives from Eastern Front? in September seems to be on hand 234's).
1 PzSp: 26 Luchs
2 le SPW:
3 le SPW:
4 Schwerer:

45 Medium SPW, 28 light SPW
Look for it and you will find it...
