Georg Keppler at SS-Div. "Nord"

I read in Yerger that Georg Keppler took over the division from Demelhuber on 21-9-41 while the latter was attending a school but not much later in the fall he became ill with a brain tumor and Keppler reassumed command. I can't find that date- would anyone have it?

Bill, I don't have it at hand, but Keppler never actually took command. It was all on paper. He was supposed to, but his illness prevented it.

Information below is from the biography of Georg Keppler in Schulz/Zinke, Die Generale der Waffen-SS und der Polizei, Band 2 (H-K), p. 503:

09.09.1941 Briefly charged with leadership of SS-Kampfgruppe “Nord” as successor to Karl-Maria Demelhuber, but due to acute illness, he was unable to assume this function.
21.09.1941-01.04.1942 Under a physician’s care due to meningitis.

yes Keppler was ill but it was a meningitis not a brain cancer. He was ill from sept 41 to april 42. Then take command of Das Reich.
So Demelhuber who musr take the duties of Inspekteur der Unterführerschulen" in SS-FHA remain at the command of the Division until 6.42.
