I am looking for the informations and picture of major Friedrich von Miaskowski.

I know that at the end of WW1 he was chief of staff of the 2nd and 3rd army, but i don't have any other information about him (date of birth, death, ranks, other units in which he served or comanded exc.).

Hello Myrkozg,

"Ia" is the abbrevation of "Erster Generalstabsoffizier" (=1st General Staff Officer), or operations officer.

"CdG" stands for "Chef des Generalstabes" (=Chief of the General Staff).
