Hello!

I realize that this topic may very well have been dealt with before, but I was wondering if anyone could provide any information on it.

Thank you very much!

Very briefly:

The Italias expeditionary Corps (CSIR = Corpo di Spedizione Italiano in Russia) was formed in 1941. It was "upgraded" to an Army in 1942 (ARMIR) and what was left of it, after Dec '42-Jan '43 Russian offensives, came back in Italy in March-April 1943.

Best regards
