Oh, I see, it was Müller you meant. So you are saying that Franke actually served in III/ "Totenkopf"?

Can anyone identify this man ? I picked this photo up in Berlin in the early 80's. The Deutsches Kreuz has obviously been added as a montage. Was it awarded posthumously ? I can't tell whether the close combat clasp is silver or Gold, maybe he'd been awarded the Gold and was waiting for the DK ?

CCC in Gold

Hallo!

in december the member oberstab posted a very nice picture with a KC Holder with CCC to this forum - named the holder Donnhauser.
Sorry, but the picture shows Heinrich Dörnemann. I am sure.
I have nice shots from the real Donnhauser, PM me if you want to have them.

At the moment I am writing a book about all KCs with CCC in Gold and so I am looking for Verleihungsurkunden/Besitzzeugnisse from Walter Seebach at the moment. Everybody here, who is able to help me? Free copy of the book to this person is standard for me.
I am also looking for the information, what Seebach did in the Waffen-SS 1945 (Junkerschule Prag ?) and what job he joined after the war.
I know, Seebach is still alive, but he never replies my letters.

regards,
Florian Berger

Hi there,
I got a little question:how many NKSiG were awarded? The numbers are quite different.I have come across H.Dorrs book about the topic and I suppose there are more holders of NKSiG.For example:Schaier Ernst got probably NKSiG in Feb.1945.Do you know more about these guys with NKSiG?Zütphen Willi from AA227,Rodojewski Johann from GR412-NKSiG on 3.11.1944,Eysen August from GR366. Sauerbrei Rudolf from ID405,Schmitt Jakob from GR485/ID263.I am not sure which spelling is correct Baichl or Bäuchl,Rappl or Rappel-also holders of NKSiG.Thanx for your help.Ori
