Hello,

I was wanting to know if someone could please do me a favor and list the Heer
recipients of the Nahkampfspange in Gold? I am unable to obtain a copy of the
book at this time from Articles of War or Fedorowicz Pub. since none are avail-
able. It would be most greatly appreciated.

Im good friends with Dr Hans Mehrle, RK Apr 15 1944, 215 ID. During our last visit in Stuttgart he was telling me that Manfred Dorr was there recently to promote his book. There were a few other RK holders in the audience.

As a result, He (Mehrle) has decided to write an article on the Close Combad Badge In Gold holders from his division, the 215 ID. I will ask him if i can post that here.
