Has anyone read this book? What are your thoughts on it and is it worth purchasing?, I can't find any feedback on it as of yet.

Thanks dylan,

Can you identify the women on the cover of the book for me, I know that Irma Grese is the bottom right, and i think the top centre is Elisabeth Völkenrath, who are the others?

Hi dylan, Thanks for that.

Do you know how many were executed? I've got a little list if you'll indulge me:

Dorothea Binz
Juana Bormann
Greta Bosel
Therese Brandl
Else Ehrich
Irma Grese
Dr Maria Mandel
Elizabeth Marschall
Vera Salvequart
Elisabeth Völkenrath

Do you know of anymore?

Gidday

I was re-watching a video I have called "Hitlers Holocaust" and near the end it shows the camps being liberated and footage of the woman being led around the camp and being made to load and bury the dead inmates.

herta bothe was one of the guards and the makers of the show interviewed her when she was an old old woman. It is quite scary when the interviewer asks "Did you make a mistake, doing this job" meaning camp guard, The old lady had a think and said - "A mistake.......................... No !"

It really seemed to play on her mind, just thought it might interest you.

Another quite scary fact is that Irma Grese was only 21! when she was arrested. Also from pictures of her she was a very pretty girl.

She had affairs with both Josef Kramer, the 'Beast of Belsen' and Dr Josef Mengele 'The Angel of Death', However she was not my type of girlfriend material, she was a sexual sadist who derives her bisexual plesures from whipping and beating inmates. Nice Girl!!

Without even knowing who she was, a mere glance at any of the three pictures posted here would tell me Irma was a dangerous person, probably a psychopath.

Michael Miller, how can you tell by a photo if someone's a psychopath?

Good question.....

All speak horrors of Irma, but for God, I want an only name of victim of her.
