i once read an article in LANDSER, which says "Prewar silver wire BEVO quality breast eagle, on a field grey rather than dark green backing. "What i wonder is what is the BEVO. Maybe it is an organization equal to LDO?

enlisted and NCO breast eagles and cap eagles are usually Bevo. that is, thread machine embroidered, whereas officers often have metal flatware of hand-embroidered aluminum coils

Thanks everyone! That is to say BEVO is just a name, so there is no need to translate it?
