For what I know Wehrwolf were a ultra hidden and secret organization:I suppose it's really strange that they have produced the badges for their own organization.

Try to think:Could Al-Quaeida or IRA go around dressing badge with the simbol of their own group?? simply stupid I think.

Sorry for my badly english.

The German version of "Patent Pending" is Ges Gesch.

I am likely to be incorrect but, I have never seen an official supposed nationwide distributed badge, with "Patent Pending" on them. If anything, these are unofficial badges and would probably be for some small local community possibly having some festival or celebration of somekind.

You are confusing the post-WW1 organization with the guerilla organization active at the end of WW2.

An example of this badge can be found in "Headgear of Hitler's Germany Volume 2" by Jill Halcomb Smith and Wilhelm P.B.R. Saris, page 317.

Wehrwolf (Bund deutscher Männer)
A shield (in the form as for the "Streitaxt"-organization in black). A death's head with bones was positioned, and beneath this the "W."

Javier.

The badge is OK.

Here's mine for comparison (different maker).
