Edith Stein (1891-1942), breslauer philosopher and christian nun died in Auschwitz or Gross Rosen in 1942, probably in gas chamber. She was of jewish descent and arrested by Gestapo (2 August 1942) although she was christian.

The most we can be sure of is that only a handful of them survived until the end of the war.
