Exellent pics Ostpanzer! Regarding the "retouched" photo - it was a common fashio at the times to retouch pictures with pencil drawings. I've seen both, German and Soviet photos which were retouched so much they looked like drawings. This was done if picture did not come out very clearly.

Great pics. I heard of captured panthers being used by the Russians, but never seen any pics. Thanks for posting them.

Fine pictures Ostpanzer,I have read in "Panzer sous l'étoile rouge" the french translation of a Russian book ,that this Hummel with four other
were use with 6 Su-88 (Nashorn) by the 27°Army in the Balaton aera .
This unit served untill the 9March and entirely destroyed under the fire of the German artillery.
