S448
Ammunition store for 28cm grenades
MKB 1/507 Husöen, Western Norway

Large ammunition store, capable of storing 200 28cm grenades in two main rooms, as well as smaller rooms for handgun ammunition. Tracksystems were made in the roof to move the grenades from the bunker to the ammunition carrier outside.

Maybe the most common bunker in the Atlantikwall. Used by all brances as the Wehrmact, and often found used as headquarters for smaller units.

R105b
Machinegun casemate
Infanteriestützpunkt Kristiansund, Western Norway.

One of the few Westwall bunkers adopted into the Atlantikwall. When used in the AW, this bunkers are usually only found in flanking positions, not facing the enemy direction (Like seen in the westwall)

Hello
Very interesting tread, and great pictures !!
Some questions.
For those of us that cant see the difference in a "ordinary" bunker or a "regelbau", any tips ?
I doesnt want to add pictures here with a question everytime...is this a regelbau ?
Perhaps posting them other places first with that sort of question ?
regards
stril

I suggest you use "The ultimate fortification thread".
My thought was to keep this "as clean as possible" to get a better overview!

R636a
Firecontrol post for coastal artillery
MKB 1/505 Jul, Western Norway

Basically the same as the R636, but the R636a has a roof over the rangefinder emplacement, and a little difference in the arrangement of the rooms inside.

OK, a small contribution. We have pictures of nearly all Regelbauten except for some rare only-in-Norway types ;)
They're all sorted and in their own folder. I'll add those photos another time. Now some pics from Holland and France.

-R112 neu
-Machinegun casemate
-Stp Gr Breskens

The last remaining Sechsschartenturm in Breskens, part of the Landfront defences.

Image

-R114a
-Machinegun casemate
-Festung Dünkirch

Beautiful casemate located at the harbor.

Image

-502
-Bunker for personnel
-Reg Gefechtsstand, Haamstede

Precessor of the 622. One of the most common used Regelbauten.

Image

-R623
-Machinegun casemate
-Landfront Vlissingen

Casemate for the MG 37 (t) or MG 26 (t) behind a 10P7 plate at the very well preserved Landfront of Vlissingen in Holland.

Image

-R625
-Casemate for PAK
-Landfront Vlissingen

One of the finest Regelbauten for PAK, in my opinion.

Image

-R630
-Machinegun casemate
-Landfront Vlissingen

Casemate for the MG. Again as with the 631 a lot of concrete for a small weapon.

Image

-R644
-Machinegun casemate
-Kernwerk IJmuiden

The last intact 644 in the Atlantikwall?

Image

-R700
-Casemate for PAK
-Landfront Vlissingen

Norway is beautiful but even you don't have this ;)
The last remaining 700 in the entire Atlantikwall.

Image

-M 178
-Firecontrolpost for Naval battery
-Batterie Heerenduin, Festung IJmuiden

Quite a rare Leitstand.

Image

That's it for now. I'll post some more later.
