The "Braunes Haus" in Munich
The former "Barlow Palace" was bought by the NSDAP and it was the main Headquarters of the Nazi Party in Munich.
This house was bought with the colaboration of the all the members of the Party (2,50 Reichmarks) by person with a total of 250.000 members. And the contribution of friends of the Party.

Munich
Very interesting. I have visited Munich many times, but do not think I have seen all the Nazi sites that are still there. Can anyone help please?
I know of course about all the obvious ones, such as the Braune House, Hofbrauhous, Felldernhalle and Haus der Kunst, but what else should I go and see? Does anyone know if the east and west cemteries have maps indicating the graves of the famous?
I am there again in August.
Thanks in advance.

Yep, I cut it too close again this month, and the site didn't quite make it to the end of the month. It should be back up by 3 July.
The house that Eva and Gretl Braun lived in is at Delpstrasse 12 (that's the current street name). There is a period photo and a modern photo by AvD on my site, http://www.thirdreichruins.com/munich.htm . Here is another period photo, from Life magazine in May 1945.
