Bobby Woll's Fate?

Hello,

I know that Tiger Ace Michael Whittman was killed in Normandy 1944. But what was the fate of his good friend Bobby Woll? I think he was promoted and sent to command his own tank but was he KIA,POW or just surrived the whole war.

He was alive and well a few years ago, when a friend of mine heard him singing "patriotic" songs in the back of the bus during one of those Normandy trips... 8O

Bobby Woll died on 18 March 1996.

Bobby woll was captured by the americans! thats kinda cool, glad sucj a great man did not meet his death like wittman did

are there eny interveiws i could read from bobby woll after the war

Great topic man.

I wonder if Bobby Woll is more to thank for the unbelievable victories of Wittman than Wittman is himself.
