Rudolf Rahn

I am looking for Rudolf Rahn. I read his book "Ruheloses Leben" and want to know,
what he really has done in Italy, I am looking for documents and pictures of him.
After the War he was very wealthy , why was he so rich?

Rahn Rudolf , Diplomat , * 16.3.1900 Ulm , + 7.1.1975 Düsseldorf . Der Sohn eines Notars , studierte Staatswissenschaft und Soziologie in Tübingen , Berlin und Heidelberg , wo er 1923 zum Dr. phil promowiert wurde , setzte seine Studien im Ausland fort und trat 1928 in das AA in Berlin ein . Seit 1931 bei der Deutschen Botschaft in Ankara tatig , wurde 1934 Legationssekretär und ging 1938 als Gesandschaftsrat nach Lissabon , 1940 wurde er Vortragender Legationsrat in Paris , 1941 politischer Beauftragter in Syrien und war 1941-1943 in gleicher Eingeschaft beim Befehlshaber der Dt. Truppen in Tunis , August 1943 Gesandter in Rom , November 1943 Botschafter bei der Faschistischen Republik Salo.

Thank you for the post. This informations i have, i wanted to get more detailed information, from telegrams of him or something like that. Thank you for the picture, where is it from do you have some more?
