In 1943 I believe he was an SSpf or above.
On Oct 1944 was I beleive removed from Post and de-moted.

Please let' s know the link to the thread Philmil posted in 2002 to avoid a longer frustrating searching.
Where is the pic of Stolle in Wehrmachtuniform ??

My notes have Kriminalrat Hans Doerhage (Dörhage) as the Sipo and SD commander in Athens until March 1942, at which time he was posted back to the Reich and demoted. (Mazower, Inside Hitler's Greece, 44, 219, 230). According to Mazower, Doerhage was formerly a policeman in Weimar. The photo is from Mazower, p. 221.
