That Type 4 Chi-To looks like a pretty good tank. Does any-one know if they came up against Allied armour that much, and what the outcomes generally were?

The type 4 Chi-To never reached the production stage. There were simply no ressources to start a serial production. Only 6 were built for trials. AFAIK the US-Army shipped them to Aberdeen. Maybe they made some trials against allied armour but I don´t know results.

Thanks for the great info Tom! and Ace31 , very cool of you 8)
Good idea

Unfortunately I am still with my researches into the experimental Japanese aircrafts and jets,
and I haven´t really gathered enough material on the secret arms and tanks of the Japanese Imperial Army/Navy

...but here is something to help out .
Only pictures for now, I will post information/details when I have the chance.

...here is an interesting "secret weapon"

"Ka-Ha"
High-Voltage Dynamo Vehicle 8O (High Voltage!?)

Ka-Ha loaded a dynamo which generates an electric current of high voltage (Max 10,000V).
The electric current is sent to an enemy telegraph wire in order to destroy the communication devices and
kill enemies who are talking by telephone. (!)

Only four vehicles made.

Hi.

I recently found an interesting vehicle in the collection of the Australian War Memorial:

http://cas.awm.gov.au/pls/prd/cas_disp_ ... vel=Public
It is identified as a recovery vehicle on this site but I think it is more likely an experimental trench excavator.

There are also some pics of the attachment on the back of this vehicle:

http://cas.awm.gov.au/pls/prd/cas_disp_ ... _title=%20
pictures 14 to 19 on this site

Any idea how it worked? I don´t think that the device is complete.

What happened ??? The M4 was named "killer", I think that if it was used in Europe its career would be less successful
