Here's a nice photo of E.Rösener (second from right) with Leon Rupnik

(source: "Jugoslavija u ratu 1941-1945", V.Strugar)

I saw that there were some confusions on the forum about the next photo
(where has it been taken, i think)
...well, the same occasion

One more confusion:
I found this photo under the name of Walter Schimana.
It's actually Rösener again, Rupnik is on the right

Question:
Who is the man next to Rupnik and what unit did he belong to? (insignia looks like SS-Polizei)
Also the SS-Ogruf. on the extreme left, who is he and what is the insignia above his arm eagle?

The Tyr-rune worn above the sleeve eagle indicates a graduate of the leadership school

Looks like Rösener again to me.

This man seem to have different decorations than Rösener (?),
and he's not wearing SS collar patches
(like on other photos with L.Rupnik that i've seen).

By the way, is that anti-partisan badge on SS-Ogruf. on the left?

It's definitely Erwin Rösener. The location is right, all his awards match, he's wearing the Tyr rune, he is wearing SS-O'Gruf. collar patches and last, but not least, it looks like him.
Max.

Yes, Rösener without a doubt. He must have been very proud of his Tyr-Rune (awarded in 1932, presumably) to wear it on his gray tunic (something I've never seen before and will probably never see again- I'm thinking this must have been contrary to regulations).

On another subject, nice to see Max History hereabouts.
