Hello,

According to "German armored units at Arnhem - September 1944" by Marcel Zwartz (Concord) Panzerjäger-Abteilung 657 (known as Pz.Jg.Abt.684 at this stage of the war) was commanded by Hauptmann Pulkowski and was equipped with :
- 6 4.7cm PaK(t) auf 35R (f)
- 17 Pz.Kpfw.35R (f) (including in fact a few Hotchkiss 38H (f) tanks)
- 12 Renault UE (f)
- 8 7.5cm PaK 40 guns

The unit was probably engaged on the western side of the corridor. There are several photos of R35 wrecks in the book and a photo of a Hotchkiss tank of this unit in the center of Arnhem.

Beside these French vehicles and/or conversions there was also Panzer-Kompanie 244 with probably :
- 1 Somua S35
- 2 Renault B2 (f)
- 14 Renault B2 (f) Flammpanzer

There is at least one PSW-204 (f) - Panhard 178 - in the AA10 of 10. SS PzD "Frundsberg" and of course several types of French softskins/trucks in various units.

Regards,

David
