Hi All
@ndrew the 3,7 cm K.w.K. was also used in the Panzer III ,
so I think that the 3,7 cm K.w.K. gun also used the Sk-L I.

@ndrew
the 7.5cm was behelfsmäßig so this means it was not a standard-design but a quickfix to make the guns ready to use in a short time.
and on the picture of the 3.7KwK i do not see any lafette just the guns.

-what is near the top edge of the foto? Burrel of the gun?-guess no.See those pieces of trianlge steel plates welded to the laffete.Also is visible a lower part:plate with screw holes-> For me it could be a laffete.3,7 Sockellaffete.jpg
If we assume the guns and laffetten are here separated (guns could be destroyed before capitulation-common practice) then this could be earlier a quickfix (gun+laffete)-wright?

Aleast one battery in Norway was equipped with 10,5 cm K 335 (h) in sockel lafette.mittl. Sockellafette IV 16 to für 10,5 cm K 331 (f)and K 338 (i), 10,5 cm K 332 (f), 10,5 cm K 335 (h),
10,5 cm K 29 (p), 10,5 cm K 35 (t), 10 cm K 17/04, 10 cm K 18 , 10,7 cm K 352 (r), 11,4 cm K 365 (e),
12 cm K 370 (b), 15,5 sFH 414 (f), 15,5 cm sFH 17 (p).
During trials in May 1943, one of the barrels came loose, and were blown out of the emplacement!
Here are some remains from these days, but not connected to the accident......

Hello All
The Sockellafette seen here above are all from the Army , does anyone
have any information about the use of Sockellafette for the Kriegmarine ?
I know one that was the M.K.B. Socoa-West with 4 x 15.5 cm K. 418 (f)
as you can see on the photo , this is not the original French lafette .
Who has information on the use of naval sockelafette for field guns ???
Photo = Bundesarchiv Koblenz

Jos,
I've found pictures of a 105 mm field gun - 10,5 cm K331(f) - on German naval mounts:
http://www.occupied.guernsey.net/images ... 0_5gun.jpg
Also, on page 26 of "Guns of the Atlantikwall" edited by Schiffer, there is a nice picture of another 10,5 cm K331(f) on a turn-of-the-century naval mount.
[/img]
Regarding the casemate at MKB Socoa above, it is a M170 ?
Emmanuel

Hello Emmanuel
As Jos says:
"Most of the 10.5 cm K.331 (f) in these lafette's as on your photo at the Channel Islands were used as beach defences in "Jägerstanden " or 671 and were made
for the Army and not for the Navy ."
They were all converted from field carriages.
The only Naval Batterie was "Lothringen, Noirmont Point", please do a Forum search and a Google, I'm sure you will esily find some information.
Rgds
