I found on Jens superb website the same pic we already had. And for sure, it's Hermann standing in front of his train.

Hi Patrick,

The tunnel that one of Göring's trains was stored in at the end of the war, that was plundered by French soldiers and the artworks collected and catalogued by American soldiers, is still in Berchtesgaden today. See http://www.thirdreichruins.com/bgaden.htm#goeringart .

Hi.

There are also some pictures in the book from 1950: Der Reichsmarschall im Kriege von EITEL LANGE .

A lot of good pictures from Eitel Lange, who was a fotograf and always in the near of the Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring.

It was a pleasure to me to help each others with some of the informations I have.

If the internet was available in the 60th and 70th - there will be no doubt that most of the sectects of the time before 1945 which are jet unknown wouldn´t be secrets for all the time.

I have another information, which I will not know if it is public:

Hermann Göring has got TWO trains. One was named Robinson, the other name is at the moment out of my head.

Here are some Informations about this. Also from EITEL LANGE:

http://www.traumbad.de/traumbad/a/geschich/goering.htm

I hope you understand the german language. Hier is the text:

Hi Martin,
Thank you for your contributions and additional information. Görings train was named ASIEN. ROBINSON was the train of the OKL FüStab. They could and did travel together in connections with operations, but they did not have to. I assume you have looked at:

Oh, I see - thanks a lot.

I have the "Robinson" out of the Book "Der Reichsmarschall im Kriege" from EITEL LANGE, but at this time I haven´t the time to read it.

Too much books and not enough time to read all quickly enough. ;-))

Thanks for coreccing my posting.

Best regards

Martin,

I've just ordered the book by Eitel Lange. He's the guy that also took the pictures of Göring when he visited installations and so. So, I do hope to find something inside this book.

Schussi,

Patrick

O.K. - I think it is the right book to see.

EITEL LANGE was the fotograf who was every day in the near of Göring. He was not a member of the train or so.
The was the fotograf who has only one job to do: making pictures of Göring at every situation and every day he comes into.
In the last weeks or month I think EITEL LANGE was it also, who was writing the diary of Hermann Göring.

There are a lot of pictures from the "private Göring", a lot of them are making him a little bit sympathic. But the reader ha to
remember which kind of Nazi and massmurder he also was.

It´s a very good and very old book.

I think in 2005 nobody would write such a book with a look at the Reichsmarschall sometimes more than like a popstar than a massmurder.

Enjoy it.

Best Regards
