Italian fez, for what troops??
Hello guys,
was wondering if anyone knows for whom this type of fez was produced. Blackshirts? Albanian volunteers? It has a FERT symbol attached to it. Any help is appreciated and thanks beforehand

AFAIK all Bersaglieri units wore a red (cremisi to be precise) fez. Black colour was "reserved" for fascist units, such as black shirts and the Giovani Fascisti regiment (these last part of Regio Esercito and not a fascits party organization).SinfulSaint wrote:Fez for blackshirts, militia (milite) and bersaglieri units.
some of the bersaglieri units wore red fez.
albanian blackshirt legion had a white fez as a distinctive headgear.
Best regards
