AFAIK Jacomoni was not in the Army

I too was not aware of any Army connection, but he appears to be wearing an Army uniform in the picture.

I'm not so sure is him...what's the source?

(Jacomoni was embassador at Tirana before italian invasion and civilian governor after...a diplomat career)

This is the peculiar uniform for Vicerè ( viceroy) of Albania , a civil service , the highest grade of Italian Adminastation of Albania after 1939

Am I wrong or there are the starlets on the uniform?

BTW the title of Jacomoni was King's General Leutnant in Albania

Derar Sirs,
The person in the photo is not Jacomoni but general Pariani. He was the new viceroy of Albania and arrived in Albania on march 1943, as you se in the photo. Jacomoni was not in the Army, but in the diplomatic service. The symbols in the jacket, are two litle Scaderbeg's helmet.
