Seeking promotion and award dates of subject officer.

Cord von Hobe
Oberstleutnant

* 20.03.1909 in Ohrfeld / Flensburg.
+ 06.10.1991 in Niesgrau bei Flensburg.

Promotions:
Leutnant
Oberleutnant
Hauptmann
Major
Oberstleutnant
Oberst (?)(Bundeswehr [Heer])
Brigadegeneral (?)(Bundeswehr [Heer])
Generalleutnant (Bundeswehr [Heer])

Decorations & Awards:
09.05.1945 Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes as Oberstleutnant and Fhr. of Panzer-Kampfgruppe Hobe under XIII.SS-Armee-Korps
00.00.19__ 1939 Eisernes Kreuz I. Klasse
00.00.19__ 1939 Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse

As Dieter will point out, new research indicates he is an unofficial RKT (as date of award is given as 09.05.1945 at http://www.das-ritterkreuz.de and elsewhere).

With many thanks in advance,

The second proposal from his unit (by telex ?) is not handed down. No notice for proposal-proceeding by HPA was made, no file card (for the second proposal) ever existed. In the book "Verliehene Ritterkreuze" Domaschk made a supplement (first segment, # 5102. But the second segment begins already with the number 5100, this is confusing too). Domaschk passed the proposal possibly to General Maisel. But both (Maisel and Domaschk) were not authorized to award after the surrender.
