I was wondering; what are some of the differences between Fascism and Communism/Socialism? I have thought of the following;
Fascism:
-Class cooperation over class warfare
-Private industry is left in tact
-Religion is left in place
Communism/Socialism
-Class warfare over class cooperation
-Industry is under control of the State
-Religion is sometimes abolished
-Many resources are nationalized
I know this list is short and superficial, but I was wondering if anyone could add anymore or point out if I'm wrong. Also, in some aspects, Fascism and Socialism seem almost similar; the supremacy of a centralized government is something both share. If anyone can add anymore differences, I'd be very grateful.

Sweden is a socialist country. Or if one insists on the "so-called" element, there's Tony Blair's UK.
The PRC is a communist dictatorship. (Although that doesn't bother the many self-styled "conservative" US capitalists lining up to invest there!)

I agree with you. I think I'd better use the word "self-called". Nordic countries are real socialist countries.Giovanni Acuto wrote:gao_yixing wrote:As a resident in a country of so-called socialism, I think the best way to describe the difference is that the birth of Fascism is the reaction against the development of socialism.
