Does anyone know anything about Jisho Yamazaki, a Buddhist priest of the Soto sect who emigrated to Oahu Hawaii in 1940. I do know he was in his mid-thirties at the time and that he was from Nagano-ken. He was arrested by the Honolulu FBI in 1944 and interned until war's end. He was put on trial by the Hawaii courts under the 1919 Territorial Sedition laws in 1947 for spreading rumors of a Japanese victory in late 1945 and early 1946. Any help would be much appreciated.

Best,
Gunnar
