Can't be that many to choose from with such selection of decorations, and in particular the number of tank-kills. Günther Viezenz?

The photos may have been taken at different times. The last is before first !

I'm certainly no expert, but I don't think he looks very similar? Also: The number of tank destruction badges doesn't add up, unless the 7 he's got are all silver (wasn't 5 silver badges supposed to be replaced by one gold)?

Probably this is a Fallschirmjäger previously identified as Fredrich (sic!) Lange. Not an officially recognized Knight's cross holder that is. It is possible that the photos are taken at home or something similar, perhaps even after the war, taking into account the awards being carried.

Is it your photo?

/Daniel

PS. For future identification requests on tank destruction badge holders there is a dedicated thread, as Dieter accurately points out.

I'm pretty sure the first picture is Hönscheid, and the second picture is Lange. Hönscheid served as a war correspondent in the Fallschirmjäger and the Heer. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johannes-M ... %B6nscheid.

Sorry if I'm spreading confusion  but if the first picture is not Hönscheid then I have no idea who it is. I still think the second picture is Lange.

Not the same guy as the OP, check the ears, they're fairly unique to each person. Easiest way to tell two similar people apart.
