Hi there,

Can someone give me a short bio on this general. I'm mostly interested in his date and place of birth, awards, and date and place of death. I understand that he died in some sort of fatal accident. Anyone know more details about this?

Hello! Here are Volkmann's decorations that I am aware of. I'm not certain if he held the 1939 Bar to his WWI Iron Cross 1st Class.
